Al Shu’aa Reserve

South of Al Qarma Beach Garden, there is a green area, about a kilometer away, that is worth visiting. It is Al Shu'aa Reserve. The collaboration between MME and the towns of Al Khor and Al Thakira led to the success of both of these projects.

Al Shu'aa Reserve is a place of enjoyment for the entire family. Along with Al Qarma Beach Garden, this was also established in the year 2018. The nature reserve is home to a variety of animals and vegetation.

In addition to its green sections, the family park offers numerous seats, shaded seating spots, and solar-powered lights. There are numerous children's play spaces inside as well.

How to explore Al Shu'aa Reserve?

  • Let the children get fascinated by ducks, tortoises, geese, ostriches, pigeons, goats, rabbits, and a few Arabian Oryx. Your children can interact with some of the animals too. These animals are housed in proper housing. So kids can learn more about their way of living. Kids also get a chance to feed the animals, which is an exciting thing for kids.
  • This grassy park is adorned by a canopy of trees for the presence of wilderness.
  • It has various picnic spaces and shades for families to enjoy privacy and fun.
  • It has a playground section specifically for kids to run around and enjoy the company of one another.
  • Various trees and wooden parasols around children's play areas provide shade by the seaside.
  • Located in an area covered by a vast stretch of plants and trees, there are many stunning sightseeing spots. Take pictures with family and friends to capture memories.
  • Pack your picnic baskets and carpets to relax in the park area. The park has tables set up for meals such as breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
